INNOVATION
& RESULTS
I’m always looking for innovative solutions and driving efficiency. I like to challenge the status quo and inspire others to exceed expectations. I’m also deeply committed to volunteering and contributing to the non-profit sector.
FUNDRAISING
From 2008 – 2016 I co-organized the Nepal Cleft & Burn Center’s annual fundraising event which included collecting donations for the auction, managing the catering and entertainment, designing the displays and decorations, and co-hosting the event.
During my tenure, this grass-roots effort raised over $800,000.
design & management of creative dept.
I established and organized the workflow, procedures, and systems within Persevere’s creative department. Using Jira, Google Suite, Canva, iStock, Adobe CC, Slack, Sendinblue, and other tools, I established the communications, project management, file naming conventions and storage, project request procedure, quality assurance, and presentation protocol. The result is a highly efficient, agile, and effective creative department.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
When I accepted the position of Creative Director for this national, non-profit organization, they had an inconsistent and ineffective social media presence. In an effort to grow their reach and audience, and raise awareness, I created a social media plan, calendar, and content. I set up a Canva Teams account and invited each Program Manager to a tutorial where I trained them on how to use my templates, and create some of their own posts. Over the course of 4 months, I had increased reach by 314%, audience by 20%, and page visits by 87.3%.
